Let's get this straight, once and for all:

Libertarian Party State Committee Meeting, held January 25, 2003, in
Phoenix, Arizona.

At that time, a new board was elected.  Since than and until further notice,
the board of the Arizona Libertarian Party, Inc. is comprised of the
following:

Jason Auvenshine, Chair
Warren Severin, Treasurer
Michael Kielsky, Secretary
David Owens, First Vice-Chair
Barry Hess, Second Vice-Chair
David Euchner, Assistant Treasurer
Jim Iannuzo, Assistant Secretary

During that meeting, the offices of the previous board lapsed, and the new
officers were installed instantly upon election.

IIRC this is true ... It seems that I heard it had more to do with needing
to fill that
particular seat, having nobody else to fill it ... and figuring it was
better to have
Peter within arm's reach than to have no idea what he was up to? (My
interpretation in
the latter phrase...)
